02: DIVORCE, FAILURE, & BUTT STUFF
April 12, 2021
I want our first time together, just us, to be special. So in my first solo episode I lay it all out there for you. Because I’m here to talk about all of the things people aren’t talking about.
No more suffering in silence.
I share how my journey to motherhood began when I filed for divorce ending my first marriage.
How I felt I had earned and deserved a different childbirth experience.
Things don’t always go as expected.
And most of what happens is completely out of our control. Which is really annoying.
It’s ok to grieve what could have been when things don’t end up going or looking the way we want them to.
It’s easy to get stuck in feelings of failure.
It’s mind blowing how a shift in mindset can reframe everything, but (spoiler alert) won’t change the fact that you have stitches in your twohole.
Like everything, we have to remember there is no ONE right way to do…anything!
There is only YOUR right way.
This week’s podcast is all about how we handle things NOT going according to plan. How to see through the blur and find clarity and strength.
And also that it’s really important to be nice to yourself.
