When I say core “core” you think “abs” right? I know! But what if instead, I said “core” and you think “Vagina”?!?! 🤯 I KNOW!!!!

But your abs are one sixth of your core body. That’s only 17%!!! And if I’m being totally honest, they’re not even the most important part!

In Pilates, we don’t say “core” we say “powerhouse” which is a coordination of all six sixths of your “core body.” We use all parts of your powerhouse in concert to build optimal, functional strength of your mind and body. 

In Pilates For Your Privates, we talk explicitly about the pelvic floor because it’s keystone to finally finding and using your abs! I promise you no one is talking about the pelvic floor like I do. By using real words so you fully understand what we’re talking about and can then apply it to movement and FEEL your body working in new ways.
