Sex Postpartum with PSTPRTM
October 26, 2021
As the co-founders of pstprtm Blair, Anne, and I were asked to come on Lauren Ebersole’s show to talk about sex postpartum. Something I love about partnering with Blair and Anne is that we’ve always been so clear in ourselves and each other where our strengths and weaknesses lie. Of course all of us have something to share, add, and say about sex postpartum, we also knew I would be taking the lead.
Because I talk about EVERYTHING!
I barely have a filter and the one I have is not a fine mesh. A LOT can fit through my filter.
I make it a point to check in with myself regularly because I don’t want to confuse my filter with my boundaries. I have boundaries. I’ve worked really freaking ahrd to create them and I want to hold them. I want to respect them and make sure that I don’t abandon what I’ve worked so hard to create for a laugh. I am also very aware that when I speak about sex, it involves my husband and he has a very different filter than I do. And different boundaries. And also a lot of the same boundaries. So I am very intentional about how I share and what I share that I don’t hurt myself or my husband while also still being transparent, truthful, and trustworthy.
Anyway, enough talk about this, let’s talk about sex!
